Andy is amazing!!!!
My wedding was quite short notice, I advertised on add to event and had lots of quotes from photographers. Andys quote was a true Yorkshire quote not inflated, and I can tell you he was worth every penny. We had a introductory video call after receiving the quote and I could tell Andy was very down to earth and easy to get on with, we had a laugh straight away. I knew Andy would put my other half at ease who has bad anxiety and hates having his picture taken. I loved that Andys portfolio had a variety of posed wedding shots and very natural shots that capture the special moments which is what I love.

Myself and my new hubby had a great day with Andy, he found perfect spots in our garden for photos and even brought along smokebombs which I wasn't expecting so that was a great surprise and I love that picture so much!

All of the guests loved Andy and commented how much of a nice guy he was and wasn't intrusive as he captured our memories of our big day.

In terms of organising and paying this was really simple, I was sent a payment link and contracts to sign via email which were very easy and a questionnaire to fill in about the big day. Couldn't have been simpler!

Andy kept in touch in the run up to the big day and then sent a nice little message the day before to confirm what time he would be arriving so I didn't start stressing out.

I chose suppliers for my wedding based on the quality of their service and somehow shopped locally for all of them, Andy actually lives only 15 miles away which was even nicer to know I was supporting a local business too.

All I can say is a massive thank you to Andy, I would hugely recommend to anyone whether it's a wedding shoot or a family shoot.

Had some photos taken of my little girl and I loved them all. Andrew was brilliant! Talked to her and let her do her own thing to make her feel at ease... she can be a funny one with strangers. He definitely has an eye for photos. He got some beautiful natural shots of her and I will definitely be having more. Would 100% recommend. Just 1 of my favourites 😍

We had an amazing newborn shoot with Andrew this morning. Andrew is very friendly and professional. He had such a lovely manner with my 8 week old baby and she clearly felt comfortable as she was smiling away at him! He was so understanding when my little one became unsettled at times and was more than happy to pause until she was able to continue, this really put me at ease! Thank you so much again for our beautiful pictures and such a lovely experience. We would love to book for some photos of the whole family! 🥰

Andrew took some pictures of our family at a Easter Party and we’ve just got sent them and they’re amazing! He was so lovely and made our little girl super comfortable and it was nice to watch him be the same to all the other kids there. Thank you! Will be booking another photoshoot in future!

We has Andrew for our wedding at Barnsley Town Hall, it was just a small wedding myself, new husband and 2 witnesses. Andrew meet us at the Town Hall and it felt as we had know him for ages. I has a list of ideas that we wanted to do, Andrew made sure he did them all as well as photos that he had in mind. We never stopped laughing the whole time, we felt so relaxed it was great made the photos great. We couldn't thank Andrew enough to be honest he went way beyond what we could of asked for. Highly recommended Andrew for any occasions, can't wait for the last lot of photos that I challenged Andrew with. xx

I can not recommend this guy enough! We booked for our wedding day and from day one been fantastic to deal with. On the wedding day it was fantastic to have Andrew be our photographer as it was chilled and he was so polite and nice. Honestly wouldn’t have been the same if we had booked anyone else. Only seen a few photos so far and I already can not believe how amazing these look.

Had an amazing ‘cake smash’ photo shoot done by Andrew for my little boy who is turning 1 soon!

Andrew was so patient with him and got some great pictures that we will cherish forever!

Worked with Andrew on a photoshoot recently for a full band photoshoot and he was really professional and understood everything we needed from him, can’t recommend highly enough and will be working with him again in the future x

Andrew did us a family shoot this morning! He was so relaxed and kept the shoot really fun and took lots of in the moment photos as well as some posed ones which we absolutely loved! would highly recommend Andrew, we had a family photo shoot with him and will be deffo using again. Andrew makes you feel so welcome asking what type of photos you would like as well as going through different ideas with you, he is also so patient with the children especially when your 7 week old thinks 'nope I'm not posing for you'. Andrew waited for her to be settled and did the shoot in the little ones time. seen a sneak peek of some of the shots they are amazing can't wait to see them all

This guy is amazing, recently attended a wedding where Andrew James Photography was present. It was a chilled out day with plenty of pictures that captured the perfect moments of the day.

what a absolute pleasure to have andy to be our photographer at our wedding!! He went above and beyond the entire time nothing was too much, even when we asked him to stay a little long at the last minute. From start to finish it was seamless.
This guy definitely undersells himself worth every penny and more,keep in mind this is coming from a true Yorkshire lass 🤣
